One Device, Three Essential Functions
For defense equipment procurement teams, communication and navigation are two critical requirements. But managing separate devices can increase equipment complexity, particularly when personnel operate in remote areas or demanding field environments.
A communication terminal needs to do more than simply make a call. Personnel may also need accurate positioning, reliable message exchange and precise time information without carrying several independent devices.
This is where the new generation of Military Satellite Devices offers a different approach.
Beyond a Conventional Satellite Phone
The device combines 4G network connectivity with Beidou RDSS satellite technology, supporting communication and positioning capabilities through an integrated terminal.
Its key functions include:
1.Two-Way Communication
Users can exchange short messages and make voice calls, supporting communication between field personnel and designated contacts.
2.Dual-System Navigation
Compatible with both Beidou and GPS satellite systems, the device provides high-precision navigation capabilities for positioning and location-related applications.
3.Precise Time Service
Accurate time information is another important function for military communication and coordinated field activities.
Instead of carrying separate communication and navigation equipment for these functions, users have access to multiple capabilities through one terminal.
Built for More Demanding Applications
The Android-based operating system provides a familiar platform for device operation and application integration.
Combined with 4G network connectivity and RDSS satellite capabilities, the equipment offers flexibility for different communication environments.
For defense system integrators, this combination is particularly relevant when evaluating equipment that needs to support both terrestrial and satellite-based communication functions.
The compatibility with Beidou and GPS also gives procurement teams greater flexibility when considering navigation requirements.
